My favorite eating and slicing tomato. Every year I try something new and every year I go back to Rutgers. Good size and taste—not prone to splitting or cracking. Also good for canning. Determinate.

SAN MARZANO

For those who just can’t wait for the first ripe tomato. This hardy Russian variety produces fruits in just 48 days. Not available this season.

SILVERY FIR TREE
This tomato was so highly rated by Barbara Kingsolver that I had to try it. WOW. Everyone that saw them in the greenhouse wanted one and I had trouble keeping any for myself. The most beautiful tomato plant I have seen and it fruits early, sets fruit late and tastes great. Determinate. 58 days.

STRIPED CAVERN Not available this season.
